Tinkering Tuesday
You provide the imagination and we'll provide everything you need. Simple building and art concepts for kids to construct on their own or in a group. Finished creations will be put on display for a week. For kids ages 6 to 9. Please come in and sign up your child at the Circulation Desk, the desk is at the entrance, or call in at 231-924-3480. Limit 20 children each week. You can sign up your child two weeks before the activity, until filled.

Live @ the Library: John Smolens
John Smolens, recipient of the Michigan Author Award from the Michigan Library Association will be here to present his new novel, "A Cold, Hard Prayer". This is a suspenseful story of a pair of orphans on the run from forces both good and evil. This novel is played out in the often-treacherous wintry landscape of northern Michigan. Two of John's recent novels have been selected as Library of Michigan Notable Books.
