Afternoon Movie: A Minecraft Movie
Thursday, May 22nd at 4:00 p.m.
Four misfits are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into a bizarre cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home they'll have to master this world while embarking on a quest with an unexpected expert crafter. Free movie and snacks! (PG; 1 hr 41 min) Plus, don't miss the Minecraft scavenger hunt in the Children's Department that day!
Minecraft Scavenger Hunt
Thursday, May 22nd (All day)
Grab a Minecraft scavenger hunt sheet at the Children’s Desk to search for the clues and find the answers. When you’re finished, bring it back to the desk for a prize!
Read to a Dog (REGISTRATION REQUIRED)
Saturday, May 24th from 1:00-5:00 p.m.
Call us at 231-928-0249 to sign up for a time slot. We'll have a furry friend from Geno Dog Adventures for kids to read to at the library! Get some fun, relaxed reading practice and share a story with a dog! For ages 12 and under.
Saturday Storytime
Saturday, May 31st at 11:00 a.m.
For children birth to age 5. Featuring songs, rhymes, lapsits, fingerplays, stories, movies, and crafts. Siblings and parents can share this fun storytime together!
Domino Club
Thursday, June 5th from 4:00-5:30 p.m.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Register by seeing the Children’s Desk or call 231-928-0249. Join this new club for tweens to have fun with domino set up and toppling. Eat pizza and snacks while we watch some YouTube domino videos, and then work on your own skills! For ages 8-13. Meets in the Community Room.
