	Float Your Ideas \| For teens & tweens (Ages 11-19) Thursday, April 30th from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Come enjoy some ice cream while getting creative and sharing what events you’d love to see at the library. The best ideas come with a scoop on the side! For ages 11-19.
	Teen D&D \| Ages 13-17 \| REGISTRATION FULL Thursdays, April 2nd, 16th, 23rd, & 30th Meets in the Teen Area. Sign up two weeks before each activity, until filled, by calling 231-924-3480 or seeing the front desk. Limit of 6 teens each week. These meetings will be student-led. You bring your imagination, and we'll provide everything else. The group of players tell a collective story, guiding their heroes through dangerous quests in search for treasure, battle deadly foes, and carry out daring rescues. The adventure itself is only limited by the imagination of the players around the table.
	Saturday Storytime \| Ages 0-5 Saturday, May 2nd at 11:00 a.m. Featuring songs, rhymes, lapsits, fingerplays, stories, movies, and crafts. Siblings and parents can share this fun storytime together!
	Domino Club \| Ages 8-13 \| REGISTRATION REQUIRED Thursday, May 7th from 4:00-5:00 p.m. REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Call 231-928-0249 to sign up. Tweens, get ready for some toppling fun! Join our Domino Club where you’ll watch amazing YouTube domino creations, enjoy pizza and snacks, and then try your hand at building your own setups.
	Movie Monday: Hamnet Monday, May 11th at 2:00 p.m. In late 16th-century England, Agnes, a healer sensitive to the world around her, builds a home with William Shakespeare, a local tutor and aspiring playwright. As their lives fracture, they are tested by distance, silence, and grief. Free movie and snacks. (PG-13; 2 hr 6 min)
	Tween Book Club \| Middle Schoolers Tuesday, May 12th from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Calling all magnificent Middle Schoolers! We'll be munching on free delicious pizza and snacks in the teen area of the library while discussing books. At this meeting we’ll discuss Witch Boy. 	Truth Be Told Book Group Tuesday, May 12th at 4:00 p.m. Join us for Truth Be Told, our new non-fiction book group! Our next book is The Woman They Could Not Silence, and there are copies available at our front desk to check out. We'll meet by the south fireplace to discuss, and please feel free to come even if you haven't read the book yet! New patrons always welcome. For more info, email edekkinga@fremontlibrary.net.
	Newaygo County Poetry Event Wednesday, May 20th at 6:00 p.m. The public is welcome to attend this Poetry Event at the library to hear the poetry of those in our community! You need not have entered the contest to attend. The top three poets of each age group (notified before the event) will be asked to read their poems, and the winners of each group will be announced at this event. All winners will receive a cash prize: $250 for the winner of the 11-17 age group. $100 for the two runners up of the 11-17 age group. $500 for the winner of the 18 and over age group. $250 for the two runners up of the 18 and over age group.
	Children's Afternoon Movie: Hoppers Thursday, May 21st at 4:00 p.m. A 19-year-old animal lover uses technology that places her consciousness into a robotic beaver to uncover mysteries within the animal world beyond her imagination. Free movie and snacks provided. (PG; 1 hr 44 min)
	Crafternoon: Macrame in May \| For Adults Friday, May 22nd at 1:00 p.m. In this hands-on program, you’ll learn the basics of macramé while creating two charming mini projects — a stylish coaster and/or a decorative ornament. Using simple knotting techniques, you’ll transform soft cord into beautiful handmade pieces that are perfect for your home or as thoughtful gifts. All supplies provided free. 	Books & Bites Book Group Wednesday, May 27th at 10:00 a.m. Enjoy a morning feast of literature and pastries. This book group combines the joy of reading with the delight of indulging in breakfast treats, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for book lovers and food enthusiasts alike. 	Game On! \| For teens & tweens (Ages 11-19) Thursday, May 28th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. After school, come hang out, snack, and challenge your friends to some epic matches! Race on Mario Kart on the big screen, fire up the Wii, or show off your skills with classic board and card games. Whether you’re here to compete or just hang out, it’s all about fun, friends, and games.
	Read to a Dog \| Ages 12 & under \| REGISTRATION REQUIRED Saturday, May 30th from 1:00-5:00 p.m. We'll have a furry friend from Geno Dog Adventures for kids to read to at the library! Get some fun, relaxed reading practice and share a story with a dog! For ages 12 and under. Call 231-928-0249 to register for a time slot.
	Toddler Storytime \| Ages 0-3 \| Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. \| June 10th - July 29th (no Storytime June 17th & July 22nd) Featuring stories, lapsits, fingerplays, music, & movement activities. Family Storytime \| Ages 0-5 \| Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. \| June 11th - July 30th (no Storytime June 18th & July 23rd) Featuring songs, rhymes, lapsits, fingerplays, stories, movies, and crafts.
