The Fremont Area District Library is pleased to introduce a new step
in our Local History collection.
| We are archiving
and saving the history and stories of our patrons using audio,
visual and written media to preserve them for the future to
enjoy. |

We are asking family
members and friends to conduct the interview to help us with this
endeavor. By adding these interviews to our collection, we are
safe guarding our family and community histories for future
generations to enjoy.
Everyone has a story to
tell. It could be a military story, a farming story or a story
of a romance that has lasted over the years. Maybe you or a
family member remembers surviving a storm that first time milking a
cow, times of survival and fear, or family fun. It all makes a
wonderful story. Were they in the CCC’s? Or do they
remember the Great Depression? Everyday is an adventure and we
all have stories to share with future generations. It may not
seem very exciting to you, but it will be fascinating to those who
listen.
