Friends of the Fremont Area District Library members make all these things happen. Based on our accomplishments this year, our future plans are even more aggressive. Accordingly, we ask for your support for our organization and ultimately our District Library by giving the gift of friendship and becoming a member of the Friends of the Fremont Area District Library. With your membership, you will receive a Quarterly Newsletter informing you of upcoming Library and Friends events, early admission to the annual book sale, and a coupon toward the purchase of used books at the Friend’s Room. order to join, send the appropriate amount to: Committees Social Committee: The Friends' Social Committee proved and served refreshments for the Writers Live series and any other program the library wants us to serve. The kitchenette is supplied with a variety of permanent items. Outreach Committee: Do you like to read aloud? If you do, we have an opportunity for you. Every day for only one half hour, volunteers read to residents at our Medical Care Facility. Most readers select one or two times a month to share with others who no longer read themselves.
